Participants in the REU program at Louisiana Tech will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop aimed to the development of public speaking skills (e.g., oral presentation skills, design of presentation slides and handouts) that are essential in giving professional presentations on scientific topics of interest to a wide range of audiences.
Participants are expected to present their research results in weekly Lab meetings at each REU site, and will also have the opportunity to present their work in a special poster session at the annual NeuroNEM conference at Louisiana Tech University campus in the end of the summer.
